<p>Ideal for the crafter or as a replacement clockworks in many clocks today. Reliable quartz clock mechanism, made by Takane, is simple to install. The kit includes a pair of stamped metal classic style hands in satin black. The hour hand is 2-1/8"L and minute hand 3"L. The threaded mounting shaft measures 7/16 inches long and, because of the addition of hardware when you mount it, will require that the thickness of your clock case be no more than 5/16 inches. The diameter of the shaft is 5/16 inches and will require a slightly larger hole in your clock case so the shaft will slide through. The bright bass pendulum has a 16 long inch rod that is scored every inch for shortening to 5-1/2 inches if necessary, hands (see image), mounting hardware and hanger. The movement takes an AA battery (not included) and will run for over a year without attention. There is a simple time- setting wheel on the back. The movement measures a compact 3-3/8 inches X 2-1/8 inches (excluding the pendulum) and the sturdy plastic case, not including the shaft, is only 13/16 inches thick. For replacement purposes, if you are reusing your old clock hands please note that the minute hand should be no longer than 6 inches. Illustrated installation instructions are included.</p>
